Well .... You Know.... Sometimes you want to re-hash.... Sometimes you just want to feel good..... I guess this show is both.. Keep in mind one of the big reasons I do this is to enjoy music for @ least an hour in my week.... I get sooooo much pleasure picking out songs to play for you all..

I WILL have another up soon... I know ... I Know ... I always say that ... but I will !.... My HD crashed in my ibook sooooooo , I resorted to using my roomies G5 .... It does'nt quite have the feel of my trusty G3 ibook, but I feel that I owed it to all of you..... For those that have been listening since modpod's birth , I 'm sorry for rehashing old songs , but they are important and deserve a 2nd, 3rd, or .... or Hell just buy the record ... That's what I did..... Thanks to all of you..... Especially Seth and Jess @ WHYME..... Funtime Ben @ tracks up the tree and Bethany @ Spin Magazine who all restored my faith in this whole project.

OK so I had a revelation last night while listening to vinylpodcast.com . I really dig the fact that he showcases on artist and /or (out of print/rare album ). That being said I opted to podcast a show on the Dallas Tx. band Tree Wave. The band features Paul Slocum and Lauren Gray. It is probably one of the best debuts by a band I've heard. His music is incredibly organic considering the fact he uses vintage computing devices to make brilliantly recorded soundscapes.
